The new model of our ViolinCase has similar properties as our original model and can be combined with other parts of the Trinity Set, but there are some important changes and improvements.
Here are main new features of the Trinity ViolinCase2:

1. The
design is rather different and it looks more like an ”normal”, small violin case.
2. The new, round shape with a waistline and many folds of the surface, make the composite shell even
stronger/stiffer.
3. The shape of the head section is better adjusted to the scroll/peg section of a violin and
fits easier inside the Trinity SuitCase.
4. The new system with non-glued elastics on both ends makes it
easy to exchange them in the future by simply tying new knots, without removing any screws. The knots of head elastics, protected by its tight silicon cups, can be reached from the inside.
You can find replacement elastics in many shops close to you.
5. Full height partition wall around violin’s neck
supports and stabilizes the construction even better.
6. There is
more space for accessories in the pocket of the new, broader neck section.

It fits into our cabin-size Trinity SuitCase
It accommodates violins of all types and sizes: up to 605 mm length  (without button) and 215 mm width.

The result is a somewhat asymmetric shape, and it is unlike any other case.
Trinity ViolinCase is made of hyper-modern composite materials, used commonly in the airplane industry, combined sometimes with natural jute fiber.

Layers of carbon and glass fibers, reinforced with a polyester core, are impregnated with resins in a laborious, highly technological process, done entirely by hand.
Please, note: During the vacuum infusion process carbon or jute fibers may get twisted in some spots. It can’t be avoided and it doesn't influence the strength of the composite shell.
The composite shell can withstand substantial weight.
Carbon fiber is as strong and stiff as steel but much lighter. Glass fiber is elastic. These 2 materials joined together through our core material result in an extremely light and tough shell.

This sandwich structure is extremely resilient to any impact (the main cause of violin damages). Hardly any real-life accident can result in impacts as violent and persistent as those seen on this film.

The new  ViolinCase model 2 has a pure and simple internal design, creating enough space even for violins with a very broad midsection. The outside lock, cut from solid aluminum, the full-height partition around the violin neck and virtually indestructible nylon hinges ensure a supreme side impact protection.

The click-lock mechanism prevents accidental opening. Press the cover down - you’ll hear a click. Adding the Kensington lock (see below) blocks the whole mechanism.. To open - move the pin to the left.

2 back straps are made from comfortable, antislip neoprene. We use a simple, comfortable and weight-saving strap attachment-solution, as used by professional photographers. Pull the strap-end through the opening in the foot, adjust to the desired length and secure by pulling through loop.

The inside is covered with soft, insulating and lightweight  fabric. Elastic pillows keep the instrument gently but firmly in place

Reflective aluminum-bubble foil under the top-cover provides an extra sun-heat protection and, together with fabric layers, ensures stable internal conditions.
The hight of the suport pillow under the neck-foot is adjustable, and the neck rests on the suspended suport.

Both a modern and baroque neck are well supported.

There is space for extra strings, rosin and a humidifier or GPS-tracker. An optional music pocket is large enough even for big-size scores. It can be attached to the back of the ViolinCase .

Modern interior version: sponge points, with soft leather on the top. 3D printed ”naked” neck partition.
Classic interior version: sponge cushions and neck partition covered with soft leather.

When traveling with 2 instruments we now offer an alternative to dragging a big double-case with you: You can take your ordinary single violin/viola case, with all the bows inside, and carry your 2nd violin in the handy Trinity ViolinCase.

You can also use your entire Trinity Set (with a ViolinCase in the SuitCase) and carry an ordinary violin case (or another Trinity ViolinCase) on your back.
The ViolinCase can also serve as a light but extremely strong transport protector when sending a violin with a courier etc.

Trinity ViolinCase has a unique feature. You can lock it using Portable Combination Laptop Lock with a steel cable from  Kensington  (optional). All the cases ar prepared for it. Read more more here (producer site). It prevents an unauthorized opening and secures the whole case by fixing it to a firm object.

Put in the  T-Bar ™  of the Kensington lock into the slot in the metal plate of the ViolinCase’s lock. Of course you don't always need to use it; the case will still be securely closed.

Now, with the Trinity ViolinCase you can stress less... In a train - visit a toilet or take a nap. In a rehearsal – go out for a coffee.
It's quite impossible to break the lock itself or its anchor.
During a concert, in a dressing room - use it as a locker for personal valuables.
After the concert - have a few well-deserved drinks ;)

Soft Case for Trinity ViolinCase and up to 2 bow cases
Inside this soft-padded cover there is space for the Trinity ViolinCase and up to 2 Trinity BowCases. Around the case itself you can place your accessories. There is a side handle and 3 detachable straps: 2 backpack straps and 1 shoulder strap.
At the back of the Soft Case there is a flat pocket, measuring 36 cm x 22 cm, which you can use for smaller items. Into the same pocket you can tuck in a wing of the large Music Score Pocket (order separately).
The Soft Case gives a possibility of carrying 1 violin and up to 4 bows, accessories and music scores in 1 compact “package”. Many airlines allow an instrument case of such size onboard too.

In short...
Trinity ViolinCase is extremely :
- light & small
- strong & resilient
- insulating & watertight
- secure & lockable
